St X football on the radio?

Does any station carry St Xavier Bombers High School football games? ???

In the past there was an outfit called "Prep Sports Radio Network" that bought time on 1050 and 1160, then 1160 and 1360. So far they haven't released their schedule for this season, but with all the format changes and shuffling on the most logical AM's they could get on, they may be having trouble getting airtime.

The next closest place that does HS games is 1450 but they mostly stick to games closer to the Hamilton area since they don't get out as far at night.

I saw 5 st. xavier games will be on 1360 this season all Elder on 1050 somewhere. Too bad thats it. I figured 1530 would have some games also. That would be bad if thats it for HS football on radio this year.

PSRN buys the airtime up front from the stations. I would imagine that airtime on 1530 is probably too expensive for them to make up through ad sales.
They weren't able to get a deal to get on 1050 last year, but since it was sold maybe the new ownership is willing to let them back on. I doubt they will see any time on 1160 this year since it's already 100% brokered out to Dusty et al. The only other option for them to broker time is probably 1480, and I know in the past they didn't bother because they felt that the night signal on that station wasn't worth it.

Made a call to my contact at PSRN....Daryl Parks will not allow HS Sports on 1530 "nobody listens to HS Football in Cincinnati!". They wanted and begged to be on the sports channel but Parks said NO!
