Sta-Max Composite Clipper

I've been looking for a few of these and having very little luck.

Picked one up on eBay about 6 months ago for $50 - which amazed me.

Unfortunately, unless they're really listed well with some other search terms like "composite clipper" or "composite processor" they're really tough to find - there are ads for another "Sta-Max" product (sex supplement) all over eBay and it makes it difficult to search for these.

If anyone has one collecting dust, and you're willing to part with it - please let me know.

You are looking for a Chris Hood clipper???
What will you pay? I know where one is that is not in use....they would probably sell it.
Yup... Looking for the Chris Hood clipper.

It's not a budgeted item, so I'd probably have to keep it under a few hundred bucks.

That makes me wonder though - I could be way wrong, but I seem to recall seeing both a 1 RU and a 2 RU version of this style of clipper. One was sold by Automated Broadcast Controls (the 2 RU version.)

It's been a while though... Is my memory deceiving me or were there two different versions?

Only one I ever owned was 2RU. I've never seen another version. Contact me off list and I will contact the station and see if they still have it/want to sell.

All of the ones I have ever seen where 1RU. Including the 2 that I have.

BTW...I think using this unit would violate FCC rules because it will clip the pilot also.

It is a good sounding comp clipper though.
