True, which is why he has ended up on a station that has slightly less audience than police radio. But you gotta feel sorry these days for a fired radio announcer whose fallback gig was selling real estate.

I imagine AM 1700 has to be paying only slightly better than unemployment.

California minimum wage is $8 an hour. Imagine all the Clear Channel board operators and traffic folks who get a raise on Tuesday. As for Stacy, I hope he has a good personal services contract.

I have never been a die hard Stacy Taylor fan, but I've been tuning in and have liked what I heard. He seems to be as angry as ever!

I'm rather surprised though given the rather conservative nature of the station that he seems to have a bit of a free hand in his opinions, etc. When I caught the show yesterday, in fact, there was a caller -- "longtime listener first time caller" -- asking Stacy if he thought that Air America would magically appear on the station. "God no, it will never happen on this station," he said.

I think Mark Larson should do PM drive and have Stacy do AM drive. I don't think Air America should go in 1700 but it should be all live and local progressive at least. I know that's whichful thinking.
