STACY TAYLOR FEB 14th COMMENTS ABOUT AIR AMERICA

I didn't hear this entire monologue from Stacy on KASH 1700....this afternoon Stacy said that on 1360, that he and Ed had the *highest* ratings of all the various hosts on 1360 KLSD.

And, Stacy said that Air America's problem is that they are repeating the democratic talking points constantly ... where as he and Ed talk about other things ... Stacy mentioned Ed predicting football games.

And, Stacy said he called Air America to try to get re-hired after his KLSD exit. Now, I may get the details wrong, but I think he said that someone by the name of Bree Walker (KTLK???) had taken the available evening slot, so it was not available for Stacy.

And, that Bree had to pay for this evening slot. Stacy commented that brokered time is a bad idea in n/t radio.

Was Bree awarded this slot on Air America, or, is this something about to happen in their lineup?

It is not Kash 1700, it never was; it was Cash 1700. It's San Diego 1700 AM.

In summer 2007 Bree was announced for the 10PM to midnight slot on Air America but that apparently ended before it even started. She does do a two hour Saturday show on KTLK and that may be the brokered time.

Bree was a jock on San Diego's original KPRI 206.5 back in the late 70's, then went into local TV news and eventually became a talking head on top stations in New York and Los Angeles.

I think she now suffers from prolonged exposure to hair dye.

Stacy Taylor will be filling in as guest host for Lionel of Air America. I think it's next week, but don't quote me on that. It maybe as early as tomorrow morning.
