Stand-out farm/rural radio with local talk programs

Howdy all, I have memories of the radio blaring out in the barn as my grandfather milked his cows.

A local morning talk/guest/variety show followed perhaps by some local news then an audio auction show. But that is from 30 years ago. Now KQ92 from "the cities" is often heard as my Uncle runs the farm.

I am looking for a few farm/rural/small town radio streams that still share this slice of American life today.

Sure they might mix a nationally syndicated show or two, but they are still a go to place for community news and more.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Steven Clift

P.S. I am putting together a small slice of life American sampler of news and talk (at least during most of the day) stations to add to my Android along side such stations from around the world. See http://1radionews.com

KRVN AM 880 in Lexington, Neb. still has a healthy chunk of locally produced farm news each day.
