Standards/Soft AC back in Chicago suburbs

May be old news, but I just noticed that WAKE-AM 1500 in Valparaiso, IN, whose signal skirts the eastern part of the Chicago metro area, is back to standards, this time using Dial Global Local's "The Lounge" format. WAKE was a Music of Your Life station several years ago, then dropped that for CNN Headline News and then Classic Country.

They stream at www.wakeradio.com.

This makes two standards/traditional soft AC choices available to listeners along the Indiana lakeshore - WLOI-AM 1540 in nearby LaPorte, a daytimer whose signal reaches Michigan City and a tiny sliver of southwest Michigan, runs America's Best Music. The format switch may be good news for those still missing the late 1600 WCGO.
 
...and now it's back in the northwestern suburbs as well. WSQR 1180 Sycamore IL and WSPY 1480 Geneva IL have switched to America's Best Music from Cumulus' Classic Hits. Both stations were Timeless Favorites carriers before Citadel pulled the plug on it.
