Stanley Roberts GONE at KTVK/KPHO???

FTVLive is reporting (behind a paywall) that Stanley Roberts and his Caught Misbehavin' reporting have been chopped at KTVK/KPHO. I haven't seen him in a few weeks... Anyone have further information?
 
I follow Stanley on Twitter and he talked about it. Said it was budget cuts.

Bio is also off AZ Family website.

He seemed to be popular in the Valley and in the States. Hopefully he'll find something soon

IIRC, he moved here to get out of expensive San Fran and one of his children was attending college at ASU (wanted the lower in-state tuition rate). Hopefully, someone will pick him up. I thought he did a solid job in an "old school" sort of way.

Agree with doing a solid job. I've had a couple of interactions with him (no, I wasn't Caught Misbehaving!) and he was very nice.

While I loved Caught Misbehavin, I wonder if you could build a more general consumer-related franchise around him. 12 News *used* to have a strong consumer team, I wonder if TEGNA would consider reviving it.

Az Family missed out. Stanley would have been able to catch a lot of people misbehaving this past weekend.
 
Anybody Else?

Was Roberts the only person fired? I haven't noticed anyone else. There are a revolving door of reporters; one could be gone and I would've known for weeks.
