Yes, I have seen the announcement on their homepage. It is located on the upper left hand side, where a tab says "Listen to Star Monday Morning!" Once you click on that tab, it takes you to a page that says the same thing. They also embedded an audio clip saying the same thing when you first load their page.

I've seen several other Hot AC and Top 40 stations claiming they have big announcements on Monday. Makes me wonder if a big contest is starting. Although not all of them are CC stations, so I don't know.

The other "major announcements" I remember seeing were in New York and Miami, so I doubt it. These may not be connected whatsoever, it just seems odd.
