Star 102.5

How do you guys feel about the changes at Star 102.5?? So far ive noticed the 9to5 no repeat work day, 30 minute music sweeps, widening of the music list, new jingles, and the lady voice.. I like all the cosmetic stuff they have done, but the music seems to have taken a dive.. They need to pump it up just a bit more and add more gold 90s tunes.. Also they need to really make their Cardio radio upbeat, really upbeat, the songs they play dont make me want to work out but more like take a nap.... I also noticed Mike McQueen has jumped to Star when did he leave JYE?? Those are my Looney thoughts on Star...

McQueen didn't "jump to Star," WJYE threw his a$$ under the bus... as in "reduce the payroll..." as in "thin the herd..." as in "fired!"

Sounds like Star has some issues with the music. As you clearly pointed out, if the station is going to be a Hot AC as it bills itself, it should stop screwing around and "dance with the girl what brung 'em." I think the station is getting spooked by Jack, WJYE and maybe even Oldies 104... uh, 'scuse me, Buffalo's Greatest Hits WHTT.

Hot AC in most markets means contemporary adult hits augmented by lots of proven stuff from the 90's and 80's... NO 60's or 70's... leave that stuff for the hundreds of former oldies stations that seem to be scrambling to find listeners under the age of 55.
