Star 103.3 FM flips at midnight tonight

at midnight we will be saying goodbye to star 103, and hello to rock1033.
Maybe it will be somewhat like the old rock 102.3?

Wholly crap! This is going to be huge. I never thought "conservative" Cox would do this. Talk about good timing on their part. Bad news for KMYZ and KMOD. I still have to hear it to believe it.

They're too late to start "This is the end, my friend..." by The Doors. ;D

Don't expect TOO many changes. I've had it described to me as "a fresh coat of paint."

Same talent (except for Billy Madison Show in the AM).

Last song: Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight.

Nice. 8)

Pretty much. Apparently more "adult" language, based on that intro. New sweeps, I think the same V/O guy more hyped up.

It's not a bad move, but I'm a little surprised since they did that "t-shirt" billboard campaign not too long ago. Guess they decided with KMOD's changes, the time was right...

I'll bet you LESS 60s & 70s, more 80s and MAYBE 90s.

Surprises in the playlist sounds good. :)

Matt, you really need to put that in a sweeper: "more EAS tests than ANY OTHER STATION!!!" ;D

(That's one of those things you just wish didn't have to happen while you're trying to re-launch...)

When do the websites update; any idea?
