It's a Christian station which plays a mixture of Christian contemporary music and Christian oldies. It's been around a few years and before that it was operated by iHeartMedia with an R&B format.

It would be cool if they could go after an FM translator or at least improve the quality of their stream/AM signal. It sounds to me like the low quality stream from their website is being used to feed the AM transmitter.

I like how they're live and entertaining all day though. It's always the same two DJ's, but I think that's better than automation all the time. I also hear all kinds of people making liners on the air, David Robinson's liner played earlier today.

The stream's been stuck displaying the same artist and title, every time I listen for as long as I can remember.
Silverwind - A Song In The Night
I guess A Song In The Night's a really long song, that consists of many months of programming for Star 810? LOL don't quote me on this, but I think the owner's the same engineer who works for the not yet on-air 96-7 LPFM KXZL-LP!
