time to morph jammin into an urban ac, leave the disco and BeeGess crap to Q101.9, since I hear a lot of disco on there, and the motown to KONO, since I hear a lot of motown there. Morph Magic into a classic chr and put all the 80s dance stuff on there (ie Debbie Deb) and leave the 80s-00s AC to Jack FM. It's time to serve our growing population of DIVERSE peoples, not just the Hispanics. ALL races, ages, sexes, and everything in between needs to be represented in this city. Radio is great because it's free, and it's time to kill the notion that free stuff is usually crap. The radio guys need to wake up and realize that SA is getting more and more diverse and will probably be as big as Houston in 20 years or less.

I cannot see BMP morphing KTFM into Urban AC. It's format is geared toward the Hispanic audience that their company is trying to reach. They are not out to target the African-American listeners. I still think 106.7 would be the best bet for Urban AC. Cox has a few successful Urban AC stations and I think they would do fairly well with it. The African-American demos have grown in San Antonio, and if programmed right, you could reach the Hispanic audience and Whites like me, who love the format. I just don't see BMP changing KTFM or doing anything with the UAC format.

Magic would be a better candidate now, to compliment the potential at Power 106.7, Magic 105 is SA's own version of Houston's pointless 106.9, also a Cox station.

I felt the same way about Magic. Magic has had the same 80s playlists for the last 10 years with some recurrents mixed in, but only as recent ast the mid 00's.
