Star 94.1 Saturday Night Throwback Mix

Currently listening to the “Saturday Night Throwback Mix” and I must say it’s very upbeat, energized and well mixed. I dont recall Star having mixshows prior to the format flip. Not sure if its live and local but I’m impressed.

Around 2005, they started to do a mix show to compete with Saturday Night Q. I remember they were playing AT40 on Saturday nights 8pm-midnight and they bumped it up to 7pm-11pm to play their mix show afterwards. In October 2007, when they stopped playing WT40 on Sunday nights and moved AT40 to Sunday mornings, the moved the mix show up a hour or two on Saturday nights. This was stopped around 2010 when they officially flipped to Hot AC.
