Star 94 cans Tim Orff

I'm totally surprised. I thought he fit in really well.

If we wind up with Billy Bush, then we'll know it was for money. Otherwise, I can't figure it out. I doubt he was making that much.

They're definitely going straight against Q100 after 6 p. m., which is probably why they took down the "2K through Today" tagline

Look at their playlist during the daytime, and then the playlist at night - it's almost like two different stations

Interesting observation.

Star 94 Music Director Michael Chase is a very good jock who had not been on the air for a long time. But he's been voice-tracking 2-5AM lately. If the reason for the Orff dismissal was really money, I wouldn't mind hearing an evening show voice-tracked by Michael Chase.

But of course, that would mean 2 Chases back-to-back.

Well if Radio 105.7 wants to pick up another local jock....

Meanwhile..
Just imagine.. If they combine the two Chases..

"Chase & Chase in the evening.. On Star-94!"
