So I can't get a definite answer out of the building about what's happening to Marino, who was supposed to be the third person on the new morning team with Jeff and his female co-host. Is that still the plan or is Marino out totally?
If they set out to develop an audience rather than specifically stealing someone else's, they ought to do well. Local to Atlanta and not totally estrogen drenched will sell.

Good question. It was originally announced that Marino would be running the show. But Jeff & Jenn came on this morning to talk about the show. Aside from that, morning drive was just music interspersed with Jeff & Jenn promos. No mention of Marino.
I noticed yesterday on his Facebook page, Marino announced he would soon be moving to the morning show. Given the fact that he didn't get a mention in the AJC interview with Dauler and Hobby, it seems his role on the show will be minimal. Today one of the trades announced the name of the new show as, "The Jeff and Jenn Show."

If Marino's role is coming out of songs, etc, shouldn't his name at least be in the title, i.e. "The Jeff & Jenn Show with Marino?" How good could he feel about going from his own show in afternoon drive to not even having his name on the marquee?
Money talks. Cross my palm and you can marquee me or not - if the price is right. Both Jeff and Jenn have local recognition. Marino? Not so much.
