looks like Star 99.1 has turned on their digital signal! now its nulling out Power 99. Has anyone noticed as more of these philly or nyc digital signals are being implemented its reducing the adjacent channels coverage by adding on the snow affect.. i.e 102.9 covering up 102.7.T his is very noticable in areas that are midway between the two cities i.e central nj or in fringe areas.

Yeah, I noticed the IBOC trash around 99.1 last week. Star 99.1 is a little stronger than Power 99, and the interference is worse. We're having an IBOC "Cold War", with adjacent stations fighting each other with their IBOC trash. I remember when the only IBOC station was 102.7 Blink, and I think that was the first FM IBOC station in the country.<P ID="signature">______________

you cant even hear the IBOC trash on 102.7 now its WMGK IBOC trash on top of WNEW FM now. Great analogy IBOC Trash just adding on to the corp. radio trash bucket.

I tuned in 99.1 this afternoon in Trenton - you could
barely hear the analog due to crosstalk from Power 99,
but after a few seconds when the digital kicked in it
was perfect. This is the first time I've see this.
Pretty cool.
