Star 99 link to cool website

This morning on Star 99's morning show Samantha and Evan talked about this cool website where you can test your ability to ferret out the fake websites from the real ones. I thought I'd pass it on for those who didn't hear the show because I found it to be a pretty cool thing. Stevens got 9 out of 10 correct. Boyer got 3 out of 10. I got 7 out of 10.

One thing I can't get my ear to not hear is people not pronouncing "dot com." It ends up sounding like "dot cah." "M" is a letter too, you know...take some of the effects off your voice and you won't lose it.

What about those folks who still can't say the letter W? When I hear somebody say a set of call letters starting with "dub-ya" it makes me want to cringe!

Terzi has been gone for ages. Since his termination they went through one more host before giving the job to Mike Mcgowan who used to do afternoon drive. Sam Stevens is the mid-day host who filled in for Mike and Marit while both were on vacation. Evan Boyer was some behind-the-scenes guy who Stevens had join her for that week. Mike and Marit are both back now, though I'm sure most people in Connecticut continue to wake up with Storm N Norman.
 
I wake up with Hairy on "929 and 969 EHM," these days. It's nice to hear good music in the morning, I could deal with a little less John Cougar. I'll tell 'ya, Star 99's traffic can't be beat. I always tune in to Chaz & AJ for a tale or two. Here's one of mine...I once took ten hits of acid and disrobed at a court appearance, the judge was not pleased. Excited, but not at all happy.

On the way home I usually tune in to an NPR station for interesting news. The Wigout has been a staple since I was a wee lad. I wish they would bring Psychedelic Sunday back, fat chance, with Satellite radio and all. Bummer, man.
