Star & Bucwild will replace Howard Stern in Austin

After Howard Stern departs for Sirius Radio he will be
replaced by Star & Bucwild on 104.3 (The Beat) in Austin, TX. Star & Buc
are heard in #8 different markets and this will be number #9
This show is a little edgy so I'm sure that it will do just
fine. They are definitely no fans of Howard and love to bash
him whenever they get a chance. As well as other radio DJ's,
actors, rappers, models, politicans, TV Ministers, etc. They
often call it "The Hater Show". They used to be on MTV in

I say they last 6 months. No offense to them, but I think whoever is first to follow Stern will be SOL. And I give "Diamond Dave" just as long if not less.

Arn't all the Star affiliates except Albany, GA, owned by Clear Channel? And in Albany, CC does not have a hip hop station...

The Beat is an Infinity/Viacom station. This sounds, at first glance, unlikely.

Actually CC does own one in Albany, GA: WJIZ.

Its rival WZBN, which airs Star & Bucwild, is owned by Cumulus.
