Hello people. Today we are asking the question of what is happening (or should I say....rather....NOT happening) at Clear Channel Burlington? We'll title this..."how NOT to do radio".

Star now has John tesh on in PM Drive! Isn't that special! Delilah at night! Isn't that sickening? Liners all nite. Isn't that typical? Only local bodies 6a-3p Mon-Fri. My my. How the mighty have fallen.

Champ still runs Corm and the Coach in mornings. people still aren't listening. The at 9 it's....Corm in the midday! Well, if he gets a 4 share in am drive maybe he can get a 2 share in the midday. After all, why wouldn't people want to listen to him for 9 hours a day!?? Still, Mary tries in the PM drive and Alice at night. A snore. But another shift they don't have to worry about.

Kiss still on the air? liners in AM Drive and middays. A lame attempt at pm drive and sounds boxed to me at nite. Sounds like they've already "kissed" this one goodbye in the ratings! (thank you thank you)

The Zone. The guy who runs Imus...is he comic relief? tired morning show and tired local board op. Do yourself a favor and listen to this guy's traffic reports. Like they need them in Vermont anyways. he has no idea what he's saying or how to say it and it's just too much fun. I listen just to hear the screw-ups.

Clear Channel has cut back--we all know that---but only in Burlington do they seem to be devastated by letting three peopkle go. My suggestion. Find a way to carry syndication on both Star and Champ in AM Drive. Box the middays on star from out of market and Pm drive on Champ have Corm go another 4 hours. What the heck...it can use another 1 share. Then all of you managers can sit home and run the stations from your laptops and never have to come into the building. That is...if you are now.

Class dismissed.

Funny how you don't mention Kiss, the only one of the 4 stations that doesn't already have a morning show. You all know where I'm going to go with that one, so I won't repeat it.

As for Star, they've been a wasteland for years in mornings (Jack Seymour, Alan Baxter, Bob Cady, Diane Steele, Sarah West...and I'm only going back 7 years), but the only syndicated AC morning show I can think of off the top of my head is Bob & Sheri. Do you believe that they're the best option for Star 92.9 in morning drive?

As for Champ, I see no reason why Corm would give up his show. I haven't seen Burlington ratings, or heard how well the show sounds, but Tom Brennan is as universally loved as anybody on Burlington morning radio. Whom would Champ carry in syndication that would be an improvement (or could beat Bob & Tom?)

Since you know how radio is supposed to be done, why don't you tell us what station you work at so we can listen to the sound of perfection??
