Star is back in Youngstown.

... well kind of. WGFT 1330 and 94.7 are back as "Star 94.7" - but not as R&B. But rather what appears to be a locally programmed 70s and 80s Classic Hits outlet. This would I assume pick up some of the classic hits audience that was lost when Z104 went to WW1 A/C.

WGFT moving to 70s/80s/90s Classic Hits, but will be retaining some sports programming.

Apparently they are airing Liveline at night, which is a hot AC show with the occasional 80’s or 90’s request thrown in. Don’t understand the logic there. Would sound much better on Mix 94.1 or even Q92.
