Star TV (circa 1980's)

Does anyone remember Star TV from the early 1980s (I think it ran nights on KTSF Channel 26)? They aired movies that were playing in the theatres at that time? Maybe someone should bring it back?

I remember ON-TV a subscription service in the late 70s that required a descrambler, they had current movies and live sports events such as boxing, it ran on KBSC ch.52 in Los Angeles and for a short time on KAIL 53 Fresno. Sounds like STAR-TV was very similar to ON-TV. I don't think it lasted very long, not enough subscribers, cables Pay Per View pretty much replaced it.
