Star Wars on MTV

Viacom does program three of their channels alright. Those three being Nickeloden, The N, and Noggin. All stay on book with what they are surpose to show on their network.

Or, as you noted just hours later, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and TEENick.

Meanwhile, the 2009 MTV Movie Awards - this weekend - will be one of the first awards shows to preview a few projected blockbuster movies this summer:

I say, good deal. They may as well take advantage of the awards show's placement in June.

I wish MTV could bring back Remote Control. I have just the perfect scenario:

Ken Ober: Today on Remote Control it is the cast of the Hills: Heidi, Spencer and Lauren. Anyhow, let's start the game, there are 9 channels any question you get right in the first round we add 10 points. (then the off the air sound blairs) Oh no, is it off the air time already. Ok, no one got any questions, so I'm throwing all 3 of you off the air. Na, na, na hey hey goodbye! What, you didn't serious think I was going to spend 20 minutes with those d------s

I think all of the people on MTV shows now should be thrown off the air.

I think they just call it MTV because the name is a recognizable brand and has herritage and that's about it. They'll show anything on there that gets ratings and revenue. On the other hand, I've seen MTV in other countries and they still seem to be music based.

Well, I guess you could say that this past edition of the "Movie Awards" worked out well for MTV. Not just because it was the exclusive home of a trailer for the new "Twilight" sequel - but that Bruno/Eminem stunt helped a little bit, as well. Three days after the show aired, the term "MTV Movie Awards" is still showing up in the top ten "In The News" terms on Google News.

At this rate, I'd expect to see the entire Star Wars prequel on MTV before they resumed airing an unprecedented amount of music videos in key viewing hours...

I have said this before maybe the M in MTV stands for movies instead of music. Also Viacom does program three of their channels alright. Those three being Nickeloden, The N, and Noggin. All stay on book with what they are surpose to show on their network.

I think the M stands for Mindless.
