How's this doing? Do alot of people listen? I keep it on constantly, and I'm wondering how many others do.

hmmm...do you live in the boston area? it doesn't sound like you do by the pure fact that Star no longer exists...did you mean 93.7 MIKE fm?

It sounds like you haven't been up on what's going on...STar937fm.com is a live as an internet only stream (much like WJMK in Chicago and WBCS-FM in NYC)...we know the radion sation was killed <tear>, but the rhythm of Boston is alive and well in cyberspace...

how embarrassing....i thought they were referring to the actual stationl...my bad

It seems that this is the way a few stations have gone who were killed....
In Philadelphia, the alternative rock Y100 that Radio One did away with has their own web station.....www.y100rocks.com. You can listen to them on iTunes (which incidentally has a good selection of stations, including my favorite KPRI out of San Diego). A few former y100 jocks are still at the helm on the station as well as some new voices. They also have made lots of cool sweepers . And, they still give away tons of concert tickets to their listeners. It's pretty cool.
