Starboard purchase of WLIE will apparently not go through

There is a post on the NYRMB that the sale of WLIE on long island to Starboard the Catholic Broadcaster will not go through. I know Starboard did a lot of layoffs last year, I would guess the financial situation does not
allow for this big purchase. To bad for fans of catholic broadcasting. As for myself I don't care for many of the program changes Starboard did over the last few years including dropping Al Kresta and Catholic Answers and dropping some of the EWTN. I just don't find many of the replacement programs outside morning and afternoon drive to be worthwhile. They should produce less programs IMO.
