Starlink Update From The 49th State

We had -45 to -50 below for over 24 hours with no discernible problem because of it.

Speeds are getting faster, more consistent and latency is lower.

Reliability is even higher… 10-20 seconds of outages in a 12 hour period, but sometimes NONE.

Outages are so short when web browsing or streaming audio you may not even notice them. ….higher def/higher bitrate stuff you might.

That’s my Starlink pole to the left supporting some Christmas lights and that’s a street sign on the right along the main road here in McGrath, Alaska.

Do you think that is due to the frequent improvements being made to Starlink ? Good to see the road is being kept plowed.

Abdolutely, of course.. they keep adding more satellites

No, I have Starlink and haven't taken any hits longer than 2 seconds for over four months. They've been upgrading their network which doesn't require interruptions.

I’ve had very few if any 5 sec or longer outages in a month or two. My outages are 2 secs or less, often less than 1 sec… our dishes recently changed orientation
