Anyone heard anything about this? I got a random e-mail today inviting me to their launch party at Luckie Food Lounge near Centennial Park. Sounds like a variation on Urban format, with some public affairs and talk programming, but not sure who is the owner of the station.

Rodney hadn't heard of it, so I'm a little curious to see what the big secret is!

Good point...could be online...but why give it a frequency then?

they're on Twitter...cut/pasted this:

Too close to 105.3 and 105.7, would never work.........

I was listening to the live web stream and the DJ said "on the dial in Stone Mountain at 105.5".

They have a website. Appears to be an internet R&B or hip-hop radio station based in Atlanta.

Exactly what we need, more hip-hop. It sounds by the name like it would be a beautiful music type format, i.e. (Stardust).
Or nostalgia, like the short-lived WGTW Stardust 68 (previously and subsequently WCNN)

When I first saw this, my first thought (after "what the heck?") was light rock, or a K-light style format. I almost thought B98.5 had some competition!
