Stars appearing in a revival of a program, but not representing the original

Do you know of any situation where a star or host of a television program appeared later on on a new version of the program, but NOT representing the original version of the show, instead representing something else entirely?

I can think of two:

Bill Cullen, the host of the original "The Price Is Right", appeared on an episode of the Bob Barker version in 1982, but no mention was made of Bill being the original host -- he was there to talk about his current game show at the time, "Child's Play".

On a slightly-different tangent, George Duran, the 2nd Season host of TLC's "Ultimate Cake Off", appeared on another cake-decorating competition on TLC, "Next Great Baker" -- but as a spokesperson for Hunt's Tomatoes.

Any others?
