Can anyone help a new resident sort out what's going on in State College? First there's a "new" "smooth jazz" at 95.5 and it flips to hot AC without warning.

There's an AM station at 670 that seems to wander between Rush Limbaugh and background music.

There's an AM station at 970 where an apparently local guy talks for six hours straight followed by Rush, followed by Springer, followed by who knows what.

There seems to have been some kind of ownership swap involving two or three companies trading stations so no one seems to know who owns what.

Let's just say a lot of it comes from an entity that is know for "forever" changing its mind.... :)
 
Thanks. Wasn't aware of the Altoona State College Board. I'll post my confusion there.
