State Fair of Texas TIS station

I found this on a scanner board but apparently the State Fair of Texas will host a TIS station on 1670 this year.

According to the FCC app it's being leased from a company that specializes in TIS stations out of Michigan.

Let's hope it doesn't play a loop of "Our State Fair is a Great State Fair.!"

Interesting...the usual 10 watts at about 50 feet or so, still should cover the Fair Park area pretty well.

And we'd better "Howdy, folks..." on the recorded loops that they play!
