State of C-U radio?

Pretty good for a market of its size...three independent stations are still going strong. The changes I've noticed are 95.3 is a classic top 40 station...Q96 added new imaging and a really agressive listen online campaign. WILL is still one of the most listened to NPR stations in the country. The rough spot of the market is 1580 WBCP. They have a good Saturday morning local talk show and afternoon jams show, but virtually no local presence the rest of the week. Urban AC works in this market, but the station needs to add some more local talent, clean up its processing and add consistent imaging.
 
Jay P. at WILL is one of the most down to earth people EVER in the broadcasting field... Period...
