I lived in Fayetteville for awhile, and while I lived there, I listened to the radio alot. I moved away in 2004, but recently returned for two weeks. This is what I observed while listenening to the radio. The X sounded great. It had a really good mix of alternative/active rock. I like how they play Hellyeah and the Killers. Interesting how the Droid is no longer there.......I liked how Power 105.7 is playing Hollywood Hamilton on Sunday afternoon. That guy is WAY better than Seacrest. The KEG....oh boy.......there is no excuse why this station does not sound like KSHE. Somebody needs to take charge over there at Cumulus and REALLY tweak there format and make it interesting. KFAY didn't sound that bad. I thought that it was funny to hear Hannity on there. My only complaint with KFAY is Sports Rap. Sports Talk radio should be fun, And those guys take it WAY to seriously. The Eagle was possibly the worst station that I heard. What is the deal with that station???? The format is ALL OVER THE PLACE. They are supposed to be a classic rock station. I thought that the morning show was quite good. John Williams has always done a good job. The Midday show....wow......pretty terrible.....Poison???????WHAT??????on classic rock??????Poison don't even want to turn on a classic rock station and hear themseleves on there...The afternnoon show was good. However, that was the only time that the station seemed to sound like a classic rock station. Jon & Deek at Night?????What is that???That was possibly the strangest stuff that I heard on the station. They were playing Pantera & Soundgarden.....ON CLASSIC ROCK?????I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!. I also found it funny how KISR 93 seemed to be all Hip Hop....HAHAHAHAHA.

WORST STATION= THE EAGLE
 
I don't pick up those NWA signals too good but the one I have been listening to is Y94.9 sounds alright, but whats with playing John Tesh for 12 hours a day?
