Smiley - I can take him or leave him, at least he seems to try and seems like he enjoys himself.

Kelly - ditto, a little schmaltzy with the problem of the day.

Music - it's ok, but I can hear the same stuff on Jack sans commercials

My take:

Smiley-Can't stand, if acting stupid is your form of entertainment then you will love smiley.

Kelly-play music and leave the problem of the day to Jerry Springer. I am not sure if she is trying to drum up listener opnions or what, but this is a radio program not talk radio. It cracks me up when she gets a caller who goes totally against what she is saying, she has no idea how to handle the situation and just ends up sounding like a fool.

Traffic and weather, two bright spots on this station.

KJ-needs a raise for having to deal with Smiley.



Music-need to get a better variety of music, stop playing the same songs 10 times a day. No wonder the Jack format is taking off.
 
Kelly is one of the best talents in this market, if not *the* best. I just wish she would clean up the act. Too much talk about sex.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by pprd on 07/13/05 08:45 PM.</FONT></P>

LOL Tom i dont think Entercom, WRTV and Metro would be that stupid to can you for Mindy. even though she is good at what she does.
 
SMiley cracks me up, but sometimes I wonder if he is acting or is really that ADD. Secondly, Decker is a good Midday host, no flash, the song title, and start it. No chatter at work. Kelly is really good, but I am a dude, so sometimes, I am not interested. That is cool though, That is what Ihave the X for. Berg, mindi is cuter, but it's radio, so you are safe. AJ, the night guy, needs a new super producer. KJ does need a raise, but so does everyone else in radio, especially me. For the most part, the DJs are older, more mature, and more interesting then 93.1, who seem to give a job to any 19 year old kid with a squeky voice and raging hormones.
The music is good, I like hearing new bands that can't get played anywhere else, but deserve too. Then you get to go on a boat and drink with them. But Scott, please quit playing Green day. OH how I hate greenday. Please Scott?
 
I love the Green Day Scott. Might I suggest "Rubber Biscuit" by the Blues Brothers? I think if you tested it it would do well. Auditorium of cource, not call-out. Do people still do call-out? How I wish I was 17 and doing call-out again. Could you play the Seinfeld song. I love that. Smiley is the man. Scott Sands is the next big name in programming. He's pure genius. I must now explain the Rubber Biscuit reference. When Scott was doing Saturday nights at Power in Gulfport/Biloxi circa 1987, he dubbed Rubber Biscuit and Hey Bartender on to a 5 and half minute cart (remember those?) labeled "Obessesion" by Animotion so the P.D. (Rick James, bitch) could not find it. Well, you guessed it. One Friday afternoon at five R.J. decides to play Obsession from Scott's milk crate of and the rest is history.

Your giving up all my secrets! Now, how am I supposed to control what Smiley plays in the morning or get mad if HE deviates from the format? LOL.
