Station CP's

Activist San Diego had two applications for FMs in the area. Their 89.9-Ramona app. has been dismissed. 89.1 CP still active.
Perris to have 200w on 91.1 for local FM. Too bad, 91X.
KSIQ will use microwave feed to their "temporary" booster @ Hwy 54 & 125.
KBRT 740, at old KLAA site, to use 50kw day, 1.9kw nights, in a very narrow beam to Avalon.

For the record, KSIQ is still broadcasting even though it's virtually silent to the entire county. Last week, I drove on Carmel Mountain Rd east of I-15 and happened to pick up the station, and surprisingly in some spots, it sounds pretty clear (inside Carmel Village Plaza parking lot). Perhaps Q96 should change its slogan from "San Diego's New Q" to "Carmel Valley's Q".

What's the status on that "temporary booster"? Curious to know if they're still working on it or have they already tested it and failed.

Oops,thanks, Jon.
From the new location, 740's giving up about +70% of it's SoCal coverage(and all of AZ&NV desert).
