Station donated to IHRadio

IHR network, which operates am 1000 in Vista, receives a 25kw station- as a gift. (It played Oldies/classic rock format that I listened to during my trips to/from AZ.)

KYAA (1200 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian radio format. Licensed to Soquel, California, it serves the Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, and San Jose area. The station is owned by People's Radio, Inc.[1] The station formerly ran an Asian language format under the name "Radio Humsafar."

KYAA is being donated to IHR Educational Broadcasting, which will air its Immaculate Heart Radio Roman Catholic religion format. Immaculate Heart Radio already airs on KNRY in nearby Monterey, California, which has a much weaker signal. It is logical to assume that when the new format begins on KYAA, which is expected to be in late March/early April, 2013, that KNRY will be put up for sale.

This has been under discussion on the San Francisco board since February 28:

It appears you simply copied and pasted Wikipedia for your second and third paragraph. Wikipedia often gets it wrong, and they did in this case. As discussed in the SF board, KYAA was oldies and was expected to flip to Christian on March 1. As of the last post a few days ago, they are still playing oldies.

so now where on the AM dial am I gonna hear my oldies? :/ prefer something more reliable than the 1400s in Santa Maria & Tuscon that are periodically heard through the mush. (FM won't work for me as I'm in a poor spot for FM reception.)
