Station Logo and Radio Data Center

The company listed below contacted an AM, asking permission to use the station logo so that the logo would appear in the newer car radios. The company claims to work with car radio manufacturers and wishes to supply the logo to the manufacturers so that the station logo would be displayed. Does anyone here know anything about this company? Does the station want to get involved in this or is there a USA company doing the same thing? Thanks!

This has never happened to me, but I would be interested to know what its all about? Wonder how it works with AM when we are not supplying any metadata.
