I'll take station B all day....why the surprise with Ya,Ya..it was his biggest hit #7..or am I misunderstanding your ... the Dean Martin and DC five cuts are the Steak sauce on the
T-bone, gives it that extra flavor. the other stations are ground beef...Love station B ;D

i'll take the station that plays all of that..and 5000 more...but hey that's my station...so i might be just a tad bit self absorbed..lol

Station C has more songs that are not heard too much today (D.E. stiffs.....lol)
Station C would be my choice, it plays more obscure 70's songs, plus the regulars.

All stations are actually good. If we can just combine A, B & C and add 3000 more songs to the mix, then it would be fine!!

Good idea. Hey radio station owners--are you listening? (probably not)

The classic hits station here in Nashville (97.1 'RQQ) is most similar to station A, but cherry-pick a few titles from station C as well (including "Flashlight," which is cool, since I hadn't heard it in, well, forever!) and you've pretty much got their playlist.

I'm a little curious as to why station B played the Turtles twice in one hour. Seems like if you were going to do that, you would just play them back-to-back and call it a two-fer, or a "double-shot."

Does seem strange especially 30 minutes apart. I wonder if there was a request involved?

I'LL DEFINITELY GO FOR STATION B- BUT WOULD RATHER HEAR E, W, AND FIRE FROM STATION C THAN A FEW OF THE CUTS ON STATION B

The  's are for surprised plays, those are songs that just simply aren't played anymore.
I's been awhile since I've Seen Dean Martin, Lee Dorsey, and the DC 5 played.

All of them are pretty good songs too.

It does seem a tad bit odd that The Turtles were played almost exactly 30 minutes apart on Station B.

Or the bigger question- Is David listening?? :)

I didn't even know there were any "Oldies" stations left like Station B. I would love to hear it. Could you reveal its identity so I could listen online?

Well Since It Looks like this topic has cooled off a bit I will ID all the stations.
Thanks for your feedback everyone! Feel free for others to pick your choice!

Station A: 98.7 KLUV http://www.kluv.com

Station B: 1650 KQRO http://www.kqro.tk

Station C: 88.5 KEOM http://www.keom.fm/ <-- They Don't Stream

Also if anyone liked Station B you'll love 1400 KGVL http://big14gvl.com/

Well, I guess that explains it. Stations 'B' and 'C' don't have to worry about ratings and revenue. Should've done a monitor on K*LUV HD-2.

I do enjoy KLUV's HD 2 when I'm nearby a computer and HD radio,
reminds me of what KLUV was doing about a decade ago to '05 or '06 :)

I'll have to consider them In Upcoming matchups

As long as they include Patti & The Emblems' Mixed Up Shook Up Girl in the additional 3000 with some other forgotten 45s.

Speaking personally, A is quite the winner. B has some nice things, but a few I don't ever want to hear (Dean Martin is one) and several I would not want to hear more than once a year or so.

C is too rock, and the contrast of Midnight Train to the rock-ier songs is rather extreme; I like the songs, but would not be, ever, of a mood to listen to them together.
