stations down for a few hours ?

According, to CHIN-FM, toronto studios,
some of the toronto based radio stations will be "down"
for a few hours, due to the cleaning and 'routine' maintenance

[a] is this true, first of all ?
and secondly, how will directly effect gta-stations ?

if it would effect the gta-stations, won't they have the
necassary backu prep. in place, to remain on the aire ?

or is this only effecting CHIN-fm, due to the
smaller budget,etc,etc..than the radio clusters...

just wondering..
soo far, sounds fine 2me.

CHIN/100.7 fm made it clear *They were NOT taking responsibility for it *

Listen carefully!...is Mix broadcasting in Stereo or Mono?
Last time other stations (outside of CHIN) were affected, Mix 999 was broadcasting in Mono, and Edge102 was off the air.<P ID="signature">______________

don't know..i am too busy posting stuff here, and too lazy
to get up and check..

When the stations go down, it usually happens in the middle of night....when this happens, DXing seems to be better.

This seems to happen yearly, with the Toronto stations broadcasting on the CN tower to go off air, or have completley different sounding audio for a couple of hours. It makes DX'ing easier though.
