On the AM side KLAT, KGOW and KMIC are still off. KYOK was dead air when checked this morning.Looking a lot better on the FM side now.
Meanwhile KNTH is back on, had been missing for several days.

I saw that on my way up to Livingston last weekend. I didn't realize it was an LPFM. I just thought it was an LMR tower. The tower for KORG-LP Cleveland is still laying off the feeder of US 59. Not on air.

This is what i had my portable radios tuned to and it was non stop coverage. Even when they went to Michael Berry at his normal timeslot, he covered the storm. Occasionally when we needed a break, we went back to FM to listen to music for a bit. What is KTRH hurricane coverage like these days? Hurricanes were when KTRH pulled out all the stops and was the place to go to find out what was happening. But I have to imagine that staffing is much thinner now.
There were propane generators both at 510 Lovett and the Dayton tx site.
Appears KROI has returned to its main transmitter as 92.1 is back in HD.Now the only FM stations still effected by the storm are KHVU & KROI on AUX.
Just about. The Centerpoint map has been all green (which means "energized") for a few days now. There were still a lot of power line contractors around town Wednesday. I didn't see any this weekend, which means they're probably all gone now. Now it is Comcast and AT&T's turn to get to work. They couldn't work on their lines until power line workers finished their end.Is everyone's electric back on? National Politics has took over the national news.
I'm not too sure they ever came back on the air after the Derecho Storm back in May. Last time I scanned the AM band was back in early June and they were definitely off-air.KMIC 1590 is still off. Power should have been restored at the transmitter site many days ago, wonder if there was additional damage?
Yes, KHVU HD is back, so the power outage at the main site must have been resolved today. They were apparently still on the aux site at a 7:30am check this morning.KHVU finally seems back to normal
Lumping "co-ops" as one entity is misleading. Electricity co-operative organizations, if displayed individually, create a very long list as well.I realize Texas is a big state but there seems to be a whole lot of companies in above link. In Ga we have GA Power and Co-ops.
The Co-ops tend to act together in fact they own a part of plant Vogel. You are correct there seems to be a bunch. Nowhere close to the size of Texas, Georgia is the largest state land wise state east of the Mississippi. GA power chose to serve the concentrated areas based on the population back in the first part of the twenth century. I would have done the same. It's hard to make money on customers more than a mile away from each other. Back in the Enron days they "Deregulated" natural gas. Now instead of having Atlanta Gas Light making a regulated profit, we now have AGL still making a regulated profit plus "marketeers" or "racketeers" buying the gas from Atlanta Gas Light then marking it up and selling it to you.Lumping "co-ops" as one entity is misleading. In fact, there are 41 electric co-ops in The Peach State:
