Not being one to really know what the going rate on a NJ AM/FM combo actually is...mostly because I know I'll never really own a station, so I don't bother studying up on the topic...why can't it NOT be any of the above mentioned stations? Especially with Nassau being in the shape they're in, financially. I would think the money they'd be asking for would be more than enough to help them out of the mess they're in...

Also on that "radiostationsforsale" site are the three NJ AM's that have been posted for I think over a year. No takers on those three dogs?

What I've found with most of these small radio "broker" sites is they will post things to see what interest is out there, and/or they will post something that really doesn't cover the market it's listed as... for example.. they could have a lead on an AM station that is 50 miles out of Philly and they might post it as a Philly AM station because on the best of days you can hear it in a car on the furthest edge of Philly... so, these stations could be in DE or something like that.. or not even exist... I don't know this site or if they are one of "those" brokers or not... but I know the big brokers... and this is not one of them... so, I'd take pretty much anything on sites like this with a grain of salt...

And an AM/FM combo in north Jersey would be woth more than 4.5, you MIGHT be able to get something in SJ for that much...
