Stations still doing 'traditional' Oldies

What stations are still running what was considered (and still is, I guess) the 'traditional' Oldies format (not Classic Hits!) format? You know...heavy on the 60s and early 70s with a few late 70s songs and an occasional pre-64 with a 'fun' presentation. Meaning, no 70s focus or many 80s songs (examples, WRIT/Milwaukee, WRBQ/Tampa, WGRR/Cincy, KFRC/San Fransisco, etc).

Some that come to mind:

WOGL "98.1 WOGL"/Philly
WOMC "Oldies 104.3"/Detroit
WODS "Oldies 103.3"/Boston
WZZN "Oldies 94.7"/Chicago
KRTH "K-Earth 101"/LA
KXKL "Kool 105"/Denver
WRKA "103.1 WRKA"/Louisville
KLUV "98.7 KLUV"/Dallas
WMXJ "Majic 102.7"/Miami
KOOL "Kool 94.5"/Phoenix

Another could be KLOU/St Louis...though they recently changed to "My 103.3" (which sounds AWFUL), the music is still the same, straight up 60s/70s with the focus on the 60s.

I have two that I prefer. They play 50's, 60's and some 70's. They are:

OLDIES 1360AM - WNNJ-AM-New Jersey

Oldies 107.9 Good Times and Great Oldies-Hawaii

Right now, I'm listening to 1360am. Dick Clark's Rock Roll & Remember Show is on from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Plus, Dick Bartley is on Saturday nights.

I have quit listening to local stations because there is nothing in this area so I have turned to online radio and love it!

WOGL is the PPM model for CBS-FM, and is 70's based (more songs freom 70's than either 60's or 80's).

Thanks for your correction....looks like they are playing more 60s and less 80s than CBS-FM, though. 'OGL is a good oldies station.

our local station here in centralia/chehalis still does traditional oldies....KITI AM 1420. they do the 50's thru the 70's with a couple of 80's songs (like "key largo", "jesse")

WOKY/Milwaukee - AM-920 : "The Mighty 92"; "Top 40 Hits of the '60s and '70s"

But no '50s! I've heard that the GM thinks lightning will strike the tower if they play a '50s song.

In northwest NJ in addition to the previously mentioned WNNJ-AM 1360,

WMTR-1250 Morrristown

WRNJ-1510 Hackettstown

If you guys are ever in the Midlands of SC there is also Kool 102.7 WPUB... They do music from 1955 through 1979 with a few feel good tunes thrown in from Myrtle Beach... Hey still have to get our shag thing on ;D www.kool1027.com... CC1

Speaking of Myrtle Beach, they have Surf 94.9, which includes some of the really old songs in its "Beach Music" format.
