Stations that are the Most Consistent Power Down Violators

KFAX 1100 used to be Limited Time and operated when WTAM was off the air for maintenance, in my recollection.

I've heard KFAX 1100 up in middle of bupkus alaska with nothing but a portable radio

WMEJ-1190 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi has often been running what appears to be the full 5kw at night even though they are a daytimer. It sounds just as strong at night as during the day. I heard it as far away as the Muscatine, IA and Uniontown, PA SDR.

KFIR in Sweet Home Oregon is suppose to be running 146 watts at night, but I've heard them on the Hawaii SDR and the BC SDR near Alaska.

WKTF (1550) Vienna GA. Its hard to believe they can make it all the way up here to Atlanta on 26 W of power!

Latest station to add to this list is WHBO Pinellas Park/Tampa Florida on 1040 am "Sports Talk Florida." Approved power of 3600 day and 420 night. Have heard this station at night in Georgia interfering with WHO Des Moines, most likely on day power.
I was not surprised to learn that this station is owned by the same company that owns WWBA that runs all night on 820 am.

I have some up here in the great NW.
KDBI-730 Boise ID (La Gran D) is on 15KW day power nearly every night, taking out CHMJ and others.
Often KRXR-1480 Gooding ID (also Regional Mexican) will run day power at night.
And more often that not recently, KFLD-870 Pasco has ran day power at night (news/talk).

I seem to recall a longtime offender that generated a lot of complaints from DXers was 1110 WBCA in Bay Minette, Alabama. It and 1360 WMOB were both Buddy Tucker-owned stations that seems to "forget" to power down or power off on a regular basis. Both are currently off the air, though.

Right now for me the biggest offenders seem to be a few daytimer ethnic stations out of Atlanta. WPBS 1040, WFTD 1080… WQXI 790 is also now audible here most nights. It does throw a lobe my direction after dark, so I can't say it's 100% cheating but I almost never heard it post-sunset until it switched to carrying China Radio International.

Orange County, TX, with WBCA now dark WBT Charlotte is on top usually from just before our sunset to a little after sunrise. They had been a tough catch.

KRKK 1360 Rock Springs WY has been under and over KKMO most of the time the past month. They should not be on 5kw at night but I think they are.
