Stations that change satellite services

I have heard about Adult Standards stations that change satellite services. WOAM AM 1350 in Peoria, Illinois, for instance, recently switched from ABC Timeless Classics to Dial Global Adult Standards. IMHO that was a good move because ABC Timeless Classics is more of a Soft AC format compared to Dial Global Adult Standards.

In the late 1990s, WMAS AM 1450 in Springfield, Massachusetts, switched from ABC Stardust to Jones Music Of Your Life. WMAS AM 1450 is now an oldies station using ABC True Oldies.

WBAG Burlington, N. C., which is more of a full-service station, has tried them all. I don't think they're doing satellite music now, but they called it Music of Your Life the last time I checked. I think I actually heard the satellite format during midday once or twice. Before that they were Westwood One. They were news/talk before that, and the first time I ever heard the term "Stardust" for a format was on this station back in 1987.

WAME Statesville was Music of Your Life in 1996, then talk, then a simulcast of a local format (though I was told it was a second version of Music of Your Life without DJs), then classic country, and in 2001 they switched to Stardust.

1370 AM WPLK in Long Island, NY switched a few years back from ABC Timeless Classics to Music of your Life when at that time it was still know as Stardust and the music was still great, not like now where the format has been diluded with Soft AC.

WNAM 1280 Neenah-Menasha (Green Bay), WI recently switched from Music of Your Life to Dial Global.

Also, I believe KMRY 1450 in Cedar Rapids, IA, dropped Timeless Classics for what was then Westwood One a few years back, then went back to Timeless Classics after maybe a year or so.

In Warner Robins, GA, WNNG 1350 dropped Westwood One Adult Standards for ABC's Unforgettable Favorites... just a few months before the Unforgettable Favorites format was discontinued. They went with Timeless Classics afterward.

I found out KSHO in Oregon's Willamette Valley is Music of Your Life when I was doing a search for Timeless Classics affiliates hoping to find one with an outdated web site so I could see who got replaced.

This is bizarre!

http://www.ksho.net/html/kshomfmid.html is the address that came up when I did a search.

But then click on Home.
