Status Of KSTN-1420 Broadcast License?

KSTN-1420 has been off the air since February 19. That is more than four months. Is there a timeline before the FCC simply delete this license? Also I wonder if the 1420 transmitter towers are still standing?

The Communications Act as amended requires the FCC to delete the license if the station remains off the air for more than a year. The license is currently valid and will remain so until next February.

It's not specified how long the station must return to the air to keep its license. Some stations have returned for just a day or two, then gone silent again, thus "resetting the clock". On the other hand, an Alabama TV station that broadcast only color bars for 24 hours was found to not have "returned to the air" and lost their license anyway.
 
The 3 towers are still standing. The two self supporting taller ones Do show their lights at night and that
includes the blinking beacons on top. That location is pretty close to the Stockton Airport and with
an airport nearby I'm sure that's very mandatory. The issue of towers being close to an airport was
very much re-visited in recent years since the KFI tower situation in Southern California back in
December, 2004. It took KFI several years to get permission to put their tall tower back up and it is now
about 100 feet shorter than the original one that collapsed when the pilot of small plane hit it just ten feet
below its top.

KSTN's towers are not tall like KFI, but still being close to an airport is critical for the the towers to be visible during
both day and night. 8)

Also, regardless of location, any tower that is 200 ft or taller must be lit at night and either painted red and white or strobe lit during the daytime. If the station leaves the air or loses its license for any reason, it must still meet those requirements or go through the proper channels at the FAA until the tower is taken down.
