The 3 towers are still standing. The two self supporting taller ones Do show their lights at night and that
includes the blinking beacons on top. That location is pretty close to the Stockton Airport and with
an airport nearby I'm sure that's very mandatory. The issue of towers being close to an airport was
very much re-visited in recent years since the KFI tower situation in Southern California back in
December, 2004. It took KFI several years to get permission to put their tall tower back up and it is now
about 100 feet shorter than the original one that collapsed when the pilot of small plane hit it just ten feet
below its top.
KSTN's towers are not tall like KFI, but still being close to an airport is critical for the the towers to be visible during
both day and night. 8)
