Status of Soul Train

Is Soul Train really cancelled? According to Wikipedia and on that section where it reads "Season 36(2007)", the whole section is blank. For the past two months, they've been running repeat episodes from the '70s and '80s.
I have been a Soul Train fan in the 80's but lost taste of it because they plug in too many rap music that I cannot tolerate. The current host Dorian Gregory is ok, but the show now consists of Rap and R&B artists. Today 75% music heard on the show is rap, while only 25% is slow R&B.

If the trend continues, then the show will become history, just like American Bandstand which was canned in the late 80's.

Take anything on Wiki with a grain of salt -- the reason why Season 36 is blank is mainly because no one contributed to it. If this was Tribune's (the syndicator) website, there probably would be an episode guide for this season. But, Wiki's only as strong -- and abundant -- as its contributors.
