Status of WKOE/Bass River Twp?

I'm pretty sure this was discussed a while back, but I can't seem to locate the post...What's the latest with the move of WKOE to Ocean County? Does anybody know when WKOE will switch broadcasting from 106.3 (Ocean City) to 106.5 (Bass River Twp)?

...also forgot to ask what everybody thinks Press will do once 106.5 becomes a player on the Ocean County dial? What stations will they simulcast, switch, flip, etc. as a result of WKOE's move?

Rumor has it that WKOE should be happening in the next few weeks, sometime before book ends (cause thats smart). If my sources are correct, Press will simulcast G Rock on the 106.5 signal & call itself G Rock Radio 106 or something of that nature. Also, the other rumor is that when G Rock goes to WKOE, WBBO will become a new country station.-The Platypus

why would they take G-Rock off of 98.5?98.5s coverage area covers almost identical area of the proposed WKOE coverage areajust for the purpose of keeping 106.3 and 106.5 close to each other on the dial?

Country on 98.5 will die a very quick death going against long-established WPUR.WJRZ tried this a few years ago and failed too.

Also, with the demise of both WJSE (now mainstream AOR "The Ace") and WDOX (now CHR "Q107"), South Jersey is in DIRE NEED of an alternative rock station. G Rock 106 would fit that bill quite nicely.

Since it has not been tested yet, (all we have to go on are the radio locator out of wack coverage maps), how will the new signal at 106.5 slide into the Philly area. Now I can listen to 98.5 relatively good in all parts of Philly and the eastern burbs. As it stands now, 106.3 is no-where to be found on the dial in the Philly area, with JJZ and the weak signal and proximity of the antenna, will it be better at 106.5. I am amazed at the signal quality of that new religious station at 90.5, they are like a local in Philly, if G-Rock moves to 106.5, lets hope it has the same signal as 90.5.

106.5 should be just slightly better than 98.5 in Philly. It will never be as good as 90.5. 90.5/WVBV is about 4 times more powerful than 106.5 and 15 miles closer to Philly than 106.5 will be.

They should put a better CHR on 98.5 I know it didnt do well, but at least a mainstream station this time. Kind of like Z-100 in NYC, Q-102 in Philly or Kiss 108 in Boston. Those types of CHRs work or a CHR like 98.5 KRZ in Wilkes-Barre & Scranton (EXCELLENT STATION!BTW!)

I Want And Love My Country! I Cant get WPUR Up here In Southern Monmouth county even with all the antennas i made for it overpowered on that frequency by the breeze..., WBBO Will probaballay be able to really get into monmouth county (till lets say...Long branch ish area* for ratings, where WPUR only really gets up verry clear till Exit 91 or so ish On parkway...
