Steak Shapiro is to Sports Talk Radio what Isaiah Thomas is to NBA coaching. The clock is finally ticking on both of them.
 
The under is Isiah leaves at seasons end.

Brisket is the GM of the station, he will never leave the on-air slot. It feeds his ego and his face. The only way Brisket leaves if J-P does not renew the LMA with Big League. In that case, The Zone format goes off the air entirely. No matter, Brisket will set up a Mr. Microphone and a boombox at Dantanna's and do his own show on the street corner.

Did anyone else hear Brisket force Cellini and Domino talk for a half hour about how great a place Stats is for seeing big games? It was painful.

Thankfully no, thanks in part to the Regular Guys being back. And I assume you meant Dimino talked for 25 minutes and Cellini talked for five?

Wrong Temp. Brisket strated out pimping his restaurant and than made the I-tralians say what they liked about it. You could hear Domino's eyes rolling into his head.

This morning, the daily sound-off has been renamed "Steak's Sound-Off." At this rate, they will have to move the studio into the Georgia Dome so Brisket's ego can fit in the room.
 
Looking at the way 680 is trouncing them in the ratings, maybe they should call it Steak's Sign Off. That would be a segment worth tuning in for.
A sales rep for 790 told me at a Hawks game recently that Stats is lagging way behind the projections that were given for revenue.
When Taco Mac and Dantana's open at CNN Center, the doors will close at Stats a few months later.
