Steelers move from 103.9 FM to 920AM

Just saw a post on Jack FM's facebook regarding the Steelers. Had been on 103.9 since 2007, but they are moving them to WMNI-AM 920. If a Steelers' preseason game conflicts with a Columbus Clippers game, the Clippers will be aired, and the Steelers game will be joined in progress.

Regular season games will air in their entirety, with network pre and post-game shows included.

For as much as some want to say Ohio is Steeler country - and by some I mean a very vocal minority - this creates a bigger gap in Steelers radio than what existed before, and that was large enough. Basically once you get west of Wheeling, there is virtually no Steelers radio coverage. If it's a 4:25 or primetime game in the second half of the season, even WWVA no longer is an option.
