What makes you think he had a contract w/ Premiere? VEW is still getting paid, so is Krystal F. I wouldn't be shocked if he was working week to week or month to month, without a contract.
If he was working without a contract and was being paid on a per show or per week basis there would be no non-compete. He also would be inclined to jump to a job with a contract and the guaranteed money.
I also think that FSR is dying a faster death than SNR, and Sporting News as a whole is on the block, leaving a greater growth potential with them than with Premiere.
