Stephanie Miller

Hey she's good! I just heard her the other day on XM 167 America Left. She gets her point across with a sense of humor and none of the bitterness I hear on other political talk shows. I was pleasantly surprised!

She was the strongest thing KABC had going back in the 90s, when in the interest of consistent (conservative) branding, they fired her...the station, which had competitive with KFI and often beat KFI despite a weaker signal and was once the most listened-to and most lucrative station in the country, has never been the same since...

Oh she's great until you argue a point for the "Right"...and then she turns in an A$$hole like all the rest.

Bottom line; if you agree with the left wingers, you're ok.....if you don't, you are Satan and Adolf Hitler combined...

Gimme a break..

By "all the rest" I assume you're referring to both con and lib talk show hosts? But I wouldn't say her vitriolic remarks against those on the "other side of the fence" is nearly as bad as others. And she softens everything with a good of sense of humor. I do agree that the ranting and raving against the other side routine, no matter what side it's coming from, does get tiring after awhile. That said, most of the righties I've heard her go at it with didn't exactly have the manners of English valets, to say the least. BTW, if you want to hear a hilarious audio cut on the internet, look up the interview she once did on her radio show with a guy who threatened to kill her when she was a guest the previous night on one of the talking head cable shows. Priceless radio moment.

The thing about Stephanie Miller and "the rest" is that she satirizes both sides. Some of the funniest bits I heard her do was to go after the Clintons. You'll never hear Rush or Hannity etc. go after anyone on the right. I do give Hannity credit, though. I don't know if he's had her on his TV show lately but he has in the past. Very entertaining. She flirts with him and he gets flustered. He does seem to enjoy it and have a sense of humor about it. Plus she is one of the few counterpoints to get their point across on Hannity and FOX.

Perhaps a while ago, before she "announced" last year. She was quite the actress, but those who worked with her in Rochester, Buffalo and Lockport knew she prefered comfortable shoes (not that there's anything wrong with that) and it never adversely affected their working relationship or her performance.
