Mr Wesley,
Stephen A Smith is going to be a major disaster and you can book it!
The "old night show" as a national morning show happens to be a guy who is a proven morning drive talent, unlike Smith who has failed in every job - radio and tv.
Are you serious? Tony Bruno's a
bigger failure in radio than Stephen A. Smith! ESPN's
The Bruno-Golic Morning Show? Long forgotten. FSR's
The Tony Bruno Extravaganza? Dead. SNR's
The Tony Bruno Show? Aborted! How he suckered The Content Factory into giving him a night show, I'll never know--but we all know what got him back big time national syndication: Desperation by Premiere and Fox Sports Radio for cheap fill-in programming.
If Bruno were so great, he wouldn't have burned bridges at
three radio networks--nor would he be competing for an audience against the likes of George Noory, Jason Smith, Todd Wright, and human sleep.

Filling in for an african-american based show is not the same as trying to do a mass appeal show and being the driver of that show.
So you sir have failed miserably at attempting to break down this impending fiasco.
Except when that show IS mass appeal, featured on
mainstream Hip-Hop/R&B stations (a platform a lil bigger than sports radio): More than 60 market clearances, over 7 million listeners daily. Can Steve Czaban brag about that or any contributions to MSNBC? Not on your life.
You don't have to like it, but there's much more upside for the Stephen A. Smith show than you want to admit.
